Operation - KL
Just got back from KL, where the woman of my life agreed to marry me. Yup, I've taken the plunge and proposed to her.......up in the sky over KL. Here's the a step-by-step account of wat happen.
Step 1
Gathering of ideas on where to propose to her. For this, my eternal gratitude to HANAFI a.k.a Hansray for mentioning KL Tower a.k.a Menara KL.
Step 2
Gathering of further info on the attractions of KL Tower. Found out there's revolving restaurant at the top of the tower, which is the tallest in SE Asia.
Step 3
Made a long distance call over a weekend to make the necessary booking. Was getting excited over the whole thing and had to try very hard not to blurt it out to B2.
Step 4
Bought black cards and a golden marker to make clues to be given to B2 along the course of the journey up KL Tower.
Step 5
Operation in progress......B2 still did not have a clue wat was happening. Had to make sure that she did not hear when i said "KL Tower" to the cab driver.
When we finally reached the restaurant, B2 was speechless. The view was breathtaking. We decided on the buffet. B2 kept asking me wat was the occasion and if i was going to propose to her. i just shrugged no...no occasion, just wanted to induged her. A look of disappoinment came over her. I had to control myself from laughing, man, i was enjoying torturing her.
Finally, at 10.20pm, I went down on bended knees (just like she always wanted me to but thinking that i would not do it) i asked the words which came naturally...."babe, will u marry me?"
She did not hesitate. Of course she said. I was thinking.."thank goodnesss". if not, i would have to heed Hanafi's advice and jumped off the tower...he3. Anyways, she teared a bit. And i just knew that I made the right choice.
