Black Sunday

Went across the causeway to attend a wedding over the wkend. Stayed in Holiday Villa in KL..it was a fabulous pl situated near Suria KLCC...that was until we found out we were near the US and UK embassy...oops..we r in a hot spot..hahahaha...

Managed to do some shopping at Berjaya Times Square..to my darling B2, I was a gd boy on that day wasn't I? hehehehehe. Dinner was at this place called Sri Melaka..we had seafood and satay...B2 got sabo-ed into thinking that she was eating satay babat only to find out its actually satay perut!!!...eeewwww...but its actually quite nice!

Attended the wedding on Sunday...it was B2's cousin's turn to get hitched. Hantaran was RM$7k..wah..so cheap ah?!!...Experienced first hand the spirit of gotong-royong found in kampungs..I was one of the few selected to place the rice/bunga rampai/air mawar (does anybody know what this ceremony is called?) on the couple's hands..it was my first time actually and I was nervous and it showed..

departed for Singapore at 830pm...thats when we heard the news abt the tsunami...first time i heard i went like "huh?! tsunami in Penang?"...reading those accounts on the newspaper..i can't imagine the fear those ppl must have felt....

ultimately i think it's just a wake-up call from Allah for us...so pls ppl..i remind others and myself..saham akhirat dah cukup belum??...hehehehehehe
